Cyclo-Kino is an installation of 8 bicycles, a computer and 2 video projectors, recalling the times of Plateau, when pictures took the move.

Activate the Cyclo-Kino and chase away cars using leg power! Inspired by the phenakistoscope invented by Belgian Inventor Joseph Plateau, Cyclo-Kino allows visitors, perched on bicycles, to transform the wall into a movie theater and to change the images projected. Interactive Installation for Nuit Blanche Brussels, 6 October 2012.

Made by: Bettina Kusel (idea, graphics, installation, planning and realization) with the very valuable contributions of Fred Chemama(installation, realization, video: Fred did an amazing job as a true specialist of Plateau), Yacine Sebti (software) and Greg Alveolis (electronics and arduino).
